By , October 4, 2012

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, as always, many beauty and skincare brands are releasing limited edition pink products and donating the proceeds to breast cancer charities. Treat yourself to one of these guilt-free goodies before the end of the month and you’ll be making a contribution to a very worthy cause as well as adding something pretty to your beauty cabinet.

Origins
Origins is once again turning their Make A Difference rejuvenating hand treatment pink for the month of October. This year they are combining it with a special edition Peace of Mind stress-relief treatment in a cute key ring-friendly duo. The 15ml tube of hand cream and 7ml of Peace of Mind come with a convenient pink clip to keep them with you wherever you go. €12 from Origins counters nationwide with €2 from each purchase going to The Cancer Clinical Research Trust.

Glamglow Cure Sexy
Glamglow is a mud mask treatment bursting with volcanic minerals and French sea clay. Suitable for all skin types, it promises to gently exfoliate, shrink the appearance of pores and activate collagen synthesis in just 10 minutes. The Cure Sexy edition will be available from October to December and costs €57 for 50ml. 25% of profits during this period will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. You can find Cure Sexy in Beauty Parlour, Terenure, Co. Dublin; Mise Beauty, Co. Louth and other stockists.

Estée Lauder Perfectionist CP + R with Keychain
Estée Lauder is offering a range of limited edition products in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2012 – from lipstick gift sets to pressed powder compacts. Their new Perfectionist CP + R wrinkle-lifting serum is also going pink with a special edition keychain and charm. This year’s charm design is unique in that it is accented with a blue stone to represent the approximately 1% of all breast cancer cases that are diagnosed in men. The serum is €85 for 50ml with €15 from each sale going to the Cancer Clinical Research Trust.

Elemis Think Pink Beauty Kit

Presented in a fuchsia wash bag, this year’s set contains Pro Collagen Lifting Treatment for Neck & Bust (15ml), Pro Collagen Marine Cream (30ml) and Quiet Mind Bath Elixir (50ml) – all in limited edition pink packaging. Available from Elemis counters nationwide for €46.

Bliss Glamour Gloves
Bliss Glamour Gloves are a hand-hydrating treatment that leave your mitts nourished and moisturised after 20 minutes of wearing. Reusable for up to 50 treatments, the normally blue gloves are available in pink exclusively for the month of October. The proceeds of all sales will go towards the £5,000 Bliss have pledged to Breast Cancer Care. RRP is €50.40, but the gloves are currently available from Debenhams for just €30.
