Indulge in Flourless Chocolate Chip Cookies This Weekend
By Therese, August 2, 2018
It’s the bank holiday weekend, so lots of time for activities. Going out, meeting up with friends, chilling, pampering and indulging in lots of yummy treats. A long weekend is a perfect time to bake, and what is better to bake than cookies.
You can’t go wrong with delicious cookies straight out of the oven. These cookies are so simple to make and don’t even involve flour…yep you heard me right. Another amazing thing about these cookies is that they only take 6 minutes to bake.
Ingredients
210g rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
75g sugar, unrefined if desired
38g chocolate chips
2 tbsp oil or melted buttery spread
2-3 tbsp milk of choice (start with 2)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Blend the rolled oats, baking soda, salt and sugar together until it looks like flour. Mix in the chocolate chips, oil or melted butter and milk until it forms a dough. If it’s too dry you can add in a 3rd tbsp of milk. Roll the dough with your hands to form balls and place on a greased sheet on a baking tray. Press down on the balls to flatten. Place in the over and cook for 6 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them sit for 10 minutes, this will allow them to firm up. This recipe makes 6 cookies but if you would like a larger batch just double up the recipe and enjoy.
