Favourite Spa in Ireland 2010

Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa has been named Favourite Spa in Ireland for 2010 at the SpaFinder Readers Choice Awards. This year was the 8th annual awards which received a record number of votes from spa clients and guests.
There are over 15,000 destination, resort and hotel spas around the world and over the course of the year voters picked their favourite spas by continent, country and region as well as choosing their Favorite Spa in 31 categories such as Best Fitness Program, Best for Romance and Best for Weight Loss. Spas were chosen in 35 countries with only one spa in Ireland receiving the prestigious award.
Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa is located just outside Clonakilty in West Cork. The Thalassotherapy Spa was the first of its kind in Ireland debuting in 1998. The spa specialises in marine-derived treatments like their Seawater Massage Bath, Seawater Shower Massage, Marine Body Polish, Aquatonic Rehabilitation as well as relaxing mud and seaweed treatments.
