3 BBQ Marinades To Make Your Mouth Water

It’s barbeque season and there’s nothing quite as satisfying as rustling up a completely home-cooked barbeque. Here are three simple and delicious marinades you can use to jazz up your BBQ feast.
Lime & Beer Chicken Drumstick Marinade
Do you like juicy, sticky and tender chicken drumsticks? Then you’ll love this.
What You’ll Need
- ¼ cup of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of onion salt
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 minced cloves of garlic
- Juice of half a lime
- 1 cup of beer
- Handful of fresh parsley, chopped
- Pinch of salt
How It’s Done
Mix it all together, coat your drumsticks in it and leave to marinade for as long as possible. Fire them up on the barbeque and that’s all there is to it.
The Ultimate Sausage Marinade
This is a crowd pleaser, sausages have never been so good.
What You’ll Need
- 1 tablespoon of any brand barbeque sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
- ½ teaspoon of english mustard
- 2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon of onion salt
How It’s Done
Mix it all together, coat your sausages in it and leave to marinade for as long as possible. Grill them on the barbeque until sticky and delicious.
Sticky Asian-Infused Marinade
Lather any meat or vegetable skewer in this and we promise you, it will be your go-to marinade from then on!
What You’ll Need
- ½ cup of sweet and sour sauce
- ¼ cup of hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon finely minced fresh ginger
- 1 ½ teaspoons of finely minced fresh garlic
How It’s Done
Just how you’d imagine. Mix it all up and marinade your chosen food in it for as long as you can before cooking up a storm on the barbeque.
