Spas with Laconiums

Laconiums are sauna-like, dry heat rooms that are found in a small number of spas in Ireland. While laconiums are milder than saunas, with temperatures around 50–60°C, they share many similarities and benefits as they use warm, dry heat for gentle detoxification and relaxation. For those who find the humidity and high temperatures of a traditional sauna (90°C or more) too much, laconiums offer a comfortable alternative.
