"Stayed in the Shandon Hotel Last weekend, was never in up that far in Donegal before. Could not believe the landscape there. The Shandon is right beside the sea and is just outside a town called Dunfanaghy so it isn't build up at all and at the end of the drive way is the beach which the kids loved. They loved the kids club that is there too (included in the deal which i loved). While they spent time in the club me and my husband took time out in the spa and what a SPA the views looking out the large windows was breath taking. Treatments was great and the Spa Experience that came with our package was so good he even loved it. We all will be back again next year!!"
"I found the Shandon to be like heaven. I have 3 children and I was able to leave them in the play area after breakfast, my husband and myself spend half a day in the spa together which is a total treat for us. We felt so welcomed as soon as we went into the spa the staff are lovely. We got a few treatments each which was so relaxing and we went for the spa experience together, it was nothing what i was expecting. So many thing to do in it marble loungers that was heated and you could just look out over the sea to Downings and the hot tub out side we could of stayed there all day!! We never felt rushed at anytime and that is what a holiday should be like. To top it off the kids had great fun in the play center and made new friends. We all will be back again next year if not before the year ends."
"It was my first visit to the spa and i will be back without a doubt. The views of the beach is spectacular i have never seen something like this. Sitting in the hot tub sipping on champagne. Will recommend this place to anyone who needs to get away from there stressful lives."
