Top Irish Spas Receive Weddings Online Awards

Spas.ie would like to give a very special congratulations to Lough Eske Castle (Solis Hotel & Spa) and Ballygarry House on their prestigious wins at the Weddings Online Awards!

Lough Eske Castle, a Solis Hotel & Spa, took home the top prize of Overall Wedding Venue of the Year as well as Ulster Wedding Venue of the Year, while Ballygarry House received the title of Munster Wedding Venue of the Year at the annual event.

Now in their second year, the Weddings Online Awards aim to honour and celebrate excellence in Irish weddings. They are open to Irish wedding professionals north and south who continually go the extra mile and have a proven commitment to outstanding customer service.

On winning the Overall category, Jereon Quint, General Manager at Lough Eske Castle, said they are absolutely delighted, adding ‘We set ourselves very high standards from the first day we opened Lough Eske Castle and while it is very rare that you can deliver on those aspirations from day one we have managed to do so, as this award clearly demonstrates.’ The castle is also registered as a Civil Ceremony venue and has a one wedding a day policy, treating newlyweds to an Aromatherapy Associates Massage in Spa Solis the day after the wedding.

Another proud manager, Padraig McGillicuddy of Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa, said, ‘We are delighted with receiving this award and to have achieved first place in all of Munster is rewarding. We really have a great team here and this is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of management and staff, and to their commitment to the pursuit of excellence as a market leader in catering for weddings’.
