Nude Skincare

By , April 20, 2012

Nude was developed out of a desire to create high performance, luxury, natural skincare. As the body’s largest organ, Nude says skin needs to receive the correct nutrition to ensure it looks, works and feels its very best.

The brand was founded by the owner of a chain of health food shops along with friend Ali Hewson. The core belief behind the brand was that skincare could be natural and ethical while also being effective and luxurious.

Products are said to work intelligently with the skin rather than just on it, containing ingredients that the body will recognise and use. Nude’s probiotic technology is used throughout the range and is said to activate DNA repair and reduce cellular damage.

Nude products aren’t tested on animals and they use recycled materials in their packaging as much as is possible. The range is free from parabens, sulphates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene glycol, GMOs, mineral oil and silicones.

Products include cleansers, moisturisers, eye cream and face masks. Also to be found is the brand’s hero product: Advanced Cellular Renewal Serum. An international bestseller and a favourite of various celebrities, it is said to redefine facial contours.

Nude skincare products are available from Space NK in Harvey Nichols, Dublin.
