New Forest Spa Garden Opens at Galgorm Resort

By , February 5, 2026

Galgorm Resort recently unveiled its £1 million Forest Spa Garden, offering a brand new way to experience the great outdoors. This new peaceful space sits within the resort’s woodland area and is connected seamlessly to the main spa so you can enjoy every part of the spa village with ease.

What to expect

Open to overnight and day spa guests, the garden features four luxury cabanas and 3 private hot tubs to soak in. Enjoy a sauna and quiet forest walkways designed to help you slow down, offering a brand new way to explore their famous Thermal Spa Village.

Dreamy overnight stays in the woods

The new garden is also perfect for guests staying in the resort’s eco-friendly Forest Dens. It means you can enjoy world-class spa facilities just a few steps away from your secluded hideaway. Tucked away under the tree canopy, each den has a private garden with a wood-fired bath and sauna – ideal for a romantic getaway or a quiet break in nature.

More to explore

Galgorm Resort spent a further £2 million updating its junior suites which now have private balconies with their own hot tubs overlooking the River Maine. With such high standards, it is no surprise the resort won Ireland’s Best 4* Hotel Spa Experience at the 2025 Gold Medal Hotel Awards.

Managing Director, Colin Johnston, believes these changes “offer guests a spa retreat within their own room, while the Forest Spa Garden introduces an entirely new way to relax and reconnect with nature”.

This is only the beginning for the resort! The project is part of a larger £40 million development that will further position Northern Ireland as a world-class spa and leisure destination.
