The Ice House in Ballina has added two outdoor baths to their unique thermal garden in Chill Spa. The new baths will allow guests to enjoy the great outdoors in the most relaxing way – neck-deep in a steaming bath enjoying the fresh air and stunning river and woodland views. The thermal garden in Chill Spa also features an outdoor hot-tub, relaxing chairs and a barrel sauna, all sitting on a deck which is perched beautifully on the River Moy, and inside you’ll find cosy treatment rooms, a steam room, a light relaxation room with river views and a dark relaxation room.
The two baths sit side by side, so that you can enjoy them as a couple or with a friend, or of course you might rather it’s just you and nature. The Chill Spa VOYA Bath Menu offers three different types of baths to guests to enjoy outdoors. The Detox Seaweed Bath is the simplest and purest of the spa’s organic treatments. The natural power of the organic hand-harvested seaweed deeply moisturises the skin, increases circulation and promotes healing. Feel your muscles relax while your skin is renewed and regenerated with the amazing anti-aging powers of the seaweed.
The Seaweed Peat Bath combines seaweed extracts with micronized peat. Peat has long been traditionally used for a variety of skin and rheumatic conditions. Finally, the Aroma Bath Salts Therapy is a journey for the senses that envelopes the body in a bath of organic essential oils and dead sea salts sourced from the Atlantic Coast of Ireland.
Relax back into a seaweed bath in the Chill Spa and indulge every sense in your body: while your body luxuriates in therapeutic water, you can breathe in the fresh air, listen to the sounds of the birds singing and the water gently lapping and your eyes can enjoy the stunning views across the River Moy and Belleek Woods.
