Don\u2019t talk to me, don\u2019t look at me, don\u2019t anything \u2013 it\u2019s too early!<\/p>\n<p>But what if there was a way to change all that and stop being a grouch every morning? We\u2019re not saying they will all be easy, but they will work:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Routine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the easiest ways to become a morning person is routine &#8211; that means waking up at the same time every morning, unfortunately that includes weekends\u2026yikes! But if you go to sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time every morning your body will eventually expect to feel tired or awake around those times.<\/p>\n<p>Think of it this way \u2013 eventually you won\u2019t mind about the weekends, because you\u2019ll be a morning person, it\u2019s a win win situation\u2026 eventually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soothing, Fun Sounds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing puts you in a worse mood than that shrieking beep of the alarm clock, it\u2019s safe to say most people associate it with misery. So ditch the beeps, blares and blasts for something fun, energetic and happier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skip the Snooze<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While you might think hitting the snooze button is helping you wake up gradually, it actually disrupts our sleep cycle and leaves us feeling even more tired than we would be if we had just got up in the first place. Feeling more tired = feeling more cranky.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get Up and At It<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We know, we know\u2026 you\u2019re only up and you\u2019re in no mood to do exercise and get your pulse racing. But even just a few jumping jacks shortly after you get up will boost your metabolism and leave you feeling energetic and refreshed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eat a Good Breakfast<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eat a healthy, well balanced breakfast to give you energy and get your metabolism rolling. Feeling energetic will leave you feeling happier and more prepared to tackle the day ahead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start the Day the <\/strong><strong>Right Way<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve gotten your short burst of exercise in, start your day off with activity or something you love. This will elevate your mood leaving you feeling happier for the day ahead.<\/p>\n<p>If you can face it, an intense morning workout will definitely improve your mood by releasing endorphins and leaving you feel refreshed and energised.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not going to be an easy road for the first while, but it won\u2019t be long before you\u2019re up singing along with the birds, give it a go!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For some of us, morning is just not a good time.
