Why not try a few new recipes and mix things up a bit?<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Sticky BBQ Chicken Burgers <\/strong><em>from bbcgoodfood.com <\/em>\u2013 with a few added touches!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts<\/p>\n<p>4 Burger Buns<\/p>\n<p>4 Bacon Rashers<\/p>\n<p>Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion to garnish<\/p>\n<p>Add a slice of melted cheddar cheese for extra oomph!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marinade:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 tbsp of Tomato Ketchup<\/p>\n<p>4 tbsp of Brown Sauce<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp of Clear Honey<\/p>\n<p>2 crushed Garlic Cloves<\/p>\n<p>Dash of Soy Sauce<\/p>\n<p>If you want to spice things up a bit, add a splash of sweet chilli sauce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Marinade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, then put a few spoonfuls aside.<\/p>\n<p>Slice halfway into the thickest part of each chicken breast, open it up and flatten it out. Toss the marinade in and rub over the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>There is no right or wrong amount of time to leave the chicken marinading, but if you have the time &#8211; the longer you leave it, the more the flavours will develop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barbequing the Chicken<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let your barbeque heat up nice and hot and barbeque the chicken, turning regularly to avoid burning, for about 10 minutes until completely cooked through and nicely charred and sticky.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, barbeque the rashers until nice and crispy.<\/p>\n<p>Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, red onion and a slice of cheddar cheese (optional) and serve a dollop of the extra sauce on the side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why not try some delicious barbequed Corn on the Cob on the side? <\/strong><em>f<\/em><em>rom jamieoliver.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4912 alignnone\" title=\"Image Source: jamieoliver.com\" src=\"https:\/\/spas.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/corn-on-cob2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spas.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/corn-on-cob2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/spas.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/corn-on-cob2-300x206.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 Corn on the Cob, peeled<\/p>\n<p>50g of butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>Sea Salt<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>Sweet smoked paprika, for sprinkling<\/p>\n<p>80g Pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated-\u00a0<em>alternative:<\/em> Parmesan Cheese.<\/p>\n<p>1 lime, quartered<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boil the Corn on the Cobs in lightly salted water for 15 mins until fully cooked and drain them in a colander.<\/p>\n<p>Next, brush the corn with a little of the melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Place them on the barbeque and cook, turning them regularly to avoid burning, until lightly toasted.<\/p>\n<p>While they are cooking, spread out the grated cheese on a plate and pour the rest of the butter into a shallow tray.<\/p>\n<p>Roll the corn in the melted butter, sprinkle with paprika, and then roll in the cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with a lime wedge on the side for garnish.<\/p>\n<p>These recipes are simple, quick, and bursting with flavour, you won\u2019t be disappointed!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The smell of a barbeque wafting through the air means it\u2019s definitely summer time.
