Omorovicza<\/a> is a Hungarian skincare line specialising in \u2018mineral cosmetology\u2019 \u2013 a patented delivery system that allows for greater absorption of minerals by both the epidermis and dermis for firmer, suppler and younger looking skin. <\/p>\n

Omorovicza Copper Peel Treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n

This at-home facial treatment comes in two steps, the first a blue-green copper paste to purify and regulate the skin, and the second a lactic acid activator to refine, cleanse and smooth. The facial promises to boost collagen production, enhance radiance and polish the complexion.<\/p>\n

The paste feels rough and gritty, and is applied to the face without too much rubbing in. Flinching in anticipation of an onslaught of skin-stripping exfoliants, it turned out to be far less abrasive than expected. Left for two minutes, there is just enough tingling to feel as though something is happening but not so much that it\u2019s uncomfortable. In fact, the eucalyptus-like scent is quite relaxing.<\/p>\n

This is followed with the activator, the \u2018lactic acid\u2019 threat again not as bad as it sounds. Actually there was very little sensation at all, the facial foams slightly as the activator is massaged in for two minutes, thanks to the cleansing bicarbonate of soda within. The whole lot is rinsed off together and the result is smooth, clear skin that hasn\u2019t been dried out in the slightest.<\/p>\n

I was a little thrown by the fact there was no peeling involved in this \u2018copper peel\u2019 \u2013 a treatment that usually reveals a pretty fresh-looking layer of skin and the initial selling point for me. I\u2019ve been brought around though by the peel-like results in record breaking time. Usually an at-home facial treatment can take anything up to 20 minutes between preparation, soaking in and cleaning up, but this was over and done with in less than five.<\/p>\n

The price tag is a little hefty at \u20ac118, but considering you get eight of each type of tube and only around half of each is needed per treatment, you could get anything up to 16 peels from one box. This works out at just over \u20ac7 a go, meaning it could be a worthwhile investment if you\u2019re foregoing the expense of regular facials at the moment.
